The CDB Symposium 2011 entitled， "Epigenetic Landscape in Development and Disease，" will be held March 14-16， 2011 in Kobe， Japan.
Our understanding of the epigenetic status of various cells and organisms has progressed remarkably in the last decade. The term "epigenetic landscape" is increasingly used by researchers of various fields， which is reasonable given that major mechanisms underlying development and disease are epigenetic. It remains unclear， however， how to correlate a given epigenetic state with its corresponding phenotype.
This symposium will explore: ・Epigenetic Status and Mechanisms ・Epigenetic Status in Development ・Epigenetic Status of Stem Cells ・Epigenetics of Diseases ・New Technologies and Strategies in Epigenetic Analysis ・Theory and Concepts for Epigenetic Landscape
Deadline for applications is Friday， December 17， 2010. There are also a limited number of travel fellowships available for graduate students and postdocs.

The 11th Hunter Meeting will be held at the Sebel-Kirkton Park， in Pokolbin， Australia from March 22-25， 2011. The Hunter Meeting is held annually and is Australia's premier cellular biology meeting.
This year's meeting will also include a pre-conference workshop on high content cell imaging and analysis.
