The CDB Symposium 2014 entitled， "Regeneration of Organs: Programming and Self-Organization"， will be held March 10-12， 2014， at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology in Kobe， Japan.

The symposium will include discussions on current advances and the future directions of studies on the regeneration of organs. It will consist consist of the following five sessions:
1. Challenges to understand regeneration events at the organ level
2. Dissection of molecular mechanisms in regeneration
3. Logics and principles of self-organization
4. Mechanism to determine the size and shape of organs and organisms
5. Self-organization in regeneration

Registration for the meeting is now open.
Deadline for registration and abstract submission is Friday， December 13， 2013.

There are also a limited number of travel fellowships available for younger researchers to attend the meeting. Deadline for submission of applications for the travel fellowship is December 13， 2013.
