The CDB Symposium 2012 entitled. "Quantitative Developmental Biology" will be held March 26-28， 2012 in Kobe， Japan.

This symposium will cover experimental， computational， and theoretical approaches toward understanding principles of development. Recent advances in imaging and other technologies have provided a huge amount of quantitative data sets of cellular processes in complex developmental events. The program will feature presentations covering a broad range of topics， including quantitative approaches for understanding fundamental processes of morphogenesis and differentiation， and theoretical， computational and modeling approaches for development.

A few travel fellowships will be available for younger researchers traveling from abroad. Application deadline is January 13， 2012.
