The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)， Japan Society for Cell Biology (JSCB)， and RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (CDB) will join together to organize the meeting "Building the Body Plan: How cell adhesion， signaling and cytoskeletal regulation shape morphogenesis". This joint meeting will be held September 21-23， 2009 at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto， Japan.

The meeting will allow graduate students and postdocs to interact with leaders in the field from around the world in an intimate setting.Topics (subject to change) will include Cell Junction Formation and Dynamics， Specialized Cell Junctions， Signaling via Cell Contacts， Contact-Dependent Regulation of Cell Polarity and Shape， Epithelial Remodeling， Cell Migration for Morphogenesis， and Neural Morphogenesis and Axon Recognition.
