The 18th CDB Meeting entitled， "Common Themes and New Concepts in Sensory Formation" will be held April 13-15， 2009 at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology in Kobe， Japan.

Topics will include mechanisms of sensory induction， sensory cell specification， evolution of senses， development of different modalities， development of sensory architecture， models for development and sensation.

Registration deadline is March 6， 2009.
