5th International Epithelial-Mensenchymal Transition Meeting
Data: 10/10/2011-10/13/2011
Location: Singapore

The 5th International Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition Meeting of the Epithlial-Mesenchymal Transition Association (TEMTIA) will be held October 10-13C 2011 at Biopolis in Singapore. This meeting is hosted by Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology.

The EMT Conference is the major international forum for researchers studying the process of cell separation and invasion known as epithelial-mesenchymal cell transition or EMTC which takes place in developmentC wound healingC and in pathologies such as metastasis and fibrosis.

Topics presented at EMT meetings include: a variety of developmental systems and models where EMT takes placeC transcriptional and translational regulators of EMTC signal transduction by the several known growth factors that produce EMTC as well as cytoskeletal and extracellular matrix components of the EMT process.
