UK-APDBN Joint Meeting

Development and the Emergence of Function in the Nervous System

The Asia-Pacific Developmental Biology Network (APDBN), in partnership with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, is pleased to announce the holding of a jointly sponsored meeting on Development and the Emergence of Function in the Nervous System on February 8-10, 2007 at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology in Kobe, Japan. This meeting, which is open and free of charge to the developmental biology community, hopes to bring together scientists from the UK, Asia and Oceania to exchange and discuss the latest findings in neurodevelopment and related fields. Inquiries about the UK-APDBN Joint Meeting should be addressed to uk-apdbn@apdbn.org.

Registration to the meeting is free of charge, but attendance will be limited to approximately 140, and advance registration is required (click here for details). Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for the poster session. The deadline for applications is December 15, 2006. Meeting participants from outside of Kobe are asked to secure their own accommodations. Information on area hotels is available for download in English, and Japanese.
